Your idea of incorporating photos into your food journal intrigues me. It makes me wonder about the deeper connection between food, memory, and creativity. Do you think that capturing those tangible moments enhances the way you experience and remember the flavors you create? I'm fascinated by the idea of 'tasting' a memory through a photograph and a recipe.
Alexander, thanks for your comment - I’ve been pondering on how to answer this for the past couple of days! And my answer is a big yes - but I think it goes much deeper than that when it comes to memory and emotion and how all these *sensory* moments in time link together.
Besides just capturing a moment and all of the ‘stuff’ that goes with that - I think it also makes you sit in the moment just that little bit longer, too. You’re taking notice purposefully, rather than it potentially passing you by.
It’s the best time of year, isn’t it 😊 Ooo I’m a week behind on catching up on reading, but I’ll have to take a look over my morning coffee tomorrow. Any and all autumnal vibes are taking priority at the moment!
Blueberry Banana Bread!!!! Enjoyed the post so much. I am intrigued by the little photo prints! No idea how to do that! I am glad you are feeling better.
Well, I’m not sure it would suit your playlist, but one of my favourite songs for the coming season would be Season of the sticks by Noah Kahan. My favourite version is the MC4D remix.
Solid choice, my friend! 🙌 Never head of NH before but this is certainly a vibe I like. That tune is definitely one for the shower and Homesick with Sam Fender is 👌 👌

I love this season, too, and just wrote about it yesterday along with a favorite tune, “Autumn Leaves” to begin the ‘ber months.

Thanks John! Appreciate the comment and glad you enjoyed the post 🙌 Honestly - adding blueberries in is a game-changer if you haven’t tried it yet.
Loved this post. Great shots too!
Thanks JP 😊 Much appreciated! Any song/album suggestions I can add to the roster?

It’s with Olivia Rodrigo.
Completely agree, especially on the air, light and Bon Iver! Great polaroid shots too
Thanks, Mark! I feel like a little Polaroid printer would be a great addition to the coffee shop… 👀
