Amazing bakes Mark. What I want to

know is what are you doing next now that your Bake Off challenge is done? Can’t wait to find out!! I would love to bake more but there would only be me who eats them!

Ahhh thanks Gill! Oh honestly you definitely should bake more if it makes you happy - Ben barely tries anything I make so I either devour it myself or pass on to the neighbours 😆

As for what’s next… you’ll have to wait and see 😉

These are worthy of being in a bakery case. Absolutely stunning scones and mince pies. I haven’t baked in such a long time. You inspire me to give it a go again.

These all look amazing! Savoury scones have become my favourite kind recently - I made wild garlic scones in the spring

Thank you, Sarah! Ooo wild garlic sounds lush - we usually have a large patch growing at the bottom of the garden, so I’ll have to try that!

Cream-jammer here 👋 Both sets of scones look amazing, well done. Not an 'unforgivable crime' in sight. (Still can't believe someone said that. On Substack?!)

I'm going to attempt croissants this weekend, which is a direct result of you writing this series. Thanks for the inspiration and confidence boost!

And thank you, for the compliment and also for agreeing that the correct way is cream-jamming 😉
