That brioche and butter pudding looks delish!

Also, I love that you used golden caster sugar in your blondies. I think it makes a big difference flavour wise. Your Easter guests were lucky beans 😊

Thank you Shell! 😊 Ooo yeah, I think definitely worked well with the Milkybar chocolate… almost, dare I say, almost Caramac tasting!

Super envious of the upcoming workshop. It is over 10 years since I attended a day workshop at the Garden Museum in Vauxhall - it must have been early days for the Diacono/Henry double act. My word, you will be pushed and prodded and challenged but no better folk to do all of the above to you. You will learn, laugh, quite possibly cry too! A huge step on the writing journey. Cannot wait to read about it. Now, to bread and butter pud!!

Ahhh I didn’t know you’ve attended one of their session before!! 🤩

Well if that isn’t a glowing testimony of what to expect, then I don’t know what is. You could probably bet money I’ll cry 😅 inspiring stuff hits me deeply in the feels.

I’m lucky enough to call Mark a friend, living in the same town and sharing a favourite coffee watering hole, so I’m excited to be spending some quality time gleaning his infinite wisdom!

We’ve only met Mark a couple of times but he feels like a friend, always generous with his support and encouragement. Perhaps I need to add a cycle to Devon to my list.

I mean it’s a bit hilly round here but some beautiful ride nevertheless!

I had meant to add Devon to my ‘big cycle’, perhaps visit my old school … but the timings didn’t work and other plans emerged. Which leaves Devon for another adventure!!

And thank you!! Definitely worth giving that pudding a go - it’s so easy to throw together 😊

Looking at that first picture I initially thought it was chocolate and brioche. Now that would be naughty.

I mean, we can totally pretend it’s chocolate if it ups the score 😂
